⏱️ Pacing Practice Script

Mark-up symbols for practice (use on any picture book):

  • ⏩ = Speed up for excitement

  • ⏸️ = Pause for effect

  • 🐢 = Slow down for emotion

  • 💬 = Change voice for dialogue

  • 🌟 = Add expression (face, gesture)

Example line:

“The dragon lifted his wings 🐢 and roared! 💬 ⏸️ ‘Who dares enter my cave?’ 🌟”
